Since the International Coalition started targeting ISIS headquarters in Syria in Autumn 2014, the terrorist group started executing young men under the pretext of dealing with the International Coalition and giving them coordinates which caused the death of Muslims.
The participating countries are spending massive amount of money just to track ISIS leaders and assassinate them. all ISIS leaders are very good at hiding and moving in secret, for example, how many fighters know Al Adnani? Less than a five for sure, so how would a civilian know where he is and track him to give coordinates.
The terrorist group had executed several months ago, Abu Karam the head of Hesba in Raqqa and Abu Obaida and others with a charge of being spies for the International Coalition. But why the terrorist group never published a video for them? why videos are only for civilians?.
When the International Coalition killed Jihadi John, which face is not known for anybody, the terrorist group started exciting innocent civilians and video typing them telling their regrets in same way Assad regime use to do with its oppositions with one little different which is a better video quality!.
This is regarding individual targeting, as for targeting headquarters, the drones never leave Raqqa sky, they cannot hide a tank or a headquarter from the international coalition. Based on that, does the international coalition needs the help of a civilian?.
The remaining question is why the terrorist group executes these civilians? What is the benefit of that? The answer will be in the victims background, he or she for sure was an activist in the Syrian Revolution or related to some had been an activist in the revolution of worked with the FSA.
The main goal is to prevent the real image of living under ISIS control from being leaked by these activists and keep the fake image published by the terrorist group media which keep showing the life under the group’s control as the real heaven. Another reason is to terror people and prevent them from dealing with someone known to be against ISIS just like what Assad regime used to do with its oppositions and their families.
