Execlusive – Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently
ISIS group executed “Ahmed Alaqqal”, one of the emirs of Tell Abiad town, who is in charge of Hesba in Suluk town, and a security official of al-Zaidi area southeast of the city.
In details, one of Hesba patrols raided the man’s house and confiscated an amount of drugs which prepared for trade, the patrol has received a violent resistance by Alaqqal family which is considered one of the founders of the group in the area of Tell Abiad and surroundings. the family has threatened in a later step to defect from the group and revenge if their son has not be released, but the Sharia Court sentenced him to death, and he was beheaded by the sword in the public arena in the city of Suluk.
It is worth mentioning that the Alaqqal family have a significant weight in the northern region of Raqqa, and it lost alone more than forty people during the battles of the group. There are also some officials of ISIS who belongs to this family, including:
- Hadi Alaqqal: an Islamic judge and one of the founders of Al-Nusra Front and a former detainee at Assad’s regime. He was one of the most rejectionists to the entry of Free Syrian Army battalions to the city of Raqqa, he also issued several strict judgments against the undisciplined battalions. He was killed in early 2013 during an air raid of regime’s warplanes on the area of Almonkhor.
- Khalaf Alhalwas “Abu Musab”: 35 years old, in-law and a cousin of the family. He traveled to Iraq during the US invasion, and swore allegiance to al-Qaeda in 2004, Syrian intelligence didn’t arrest him when he returned from Iraq. He emerged after the outbreak of the revolution in Syria as one of the leaders of Al-Nusra Front during the battles of liberating Tell Abiad town. Khalaf worked in securing protection for traders and their goods, where he earned 400 thousand Syrian pounds to insure protection for every lorry of fuel along the road from Sokhna City to Tell Abiad. He swore allegiance to ISIS after defecting from Al-Nusra Front, and became one of the most dangerous security men in Tell Abiad and surroundings, he also served as the Emir of kidnapping team. He is currently the second man in the security office of Raqqa which is also known as Point (11).
- Khalid Alaqqal: also known as “Abu Walid Journalist”, who had a prominent role during ISIS fighting against the Units of Kurdish People’s Protection.
