ISIS threatening the doctors in Raqqa


Exclusive – Raqqa is being slaughtered silently


Resulting to the circumstances that Raqqa witnessing because of the attack of the coalition aviation and the harassments of ISIS many of the people had to leave the city to Turkey or to the areas under the regime control, a lot of doctors left especially the gynecologists who were barred from practicing their work and judged with death , but ISIS kept on the doctors from other specialists due to the urgent need of them, they forced most of them to stay and threated them to confiscate their clinics and their properties in case they left.

The doctors who still working are: Dr. Ali Haj Khalaf -digestives, Dr. Mousa Alalan – Ear Nose Throat, Dr. Suliaman Shana’a – pectoral, Ayub Shaheen- urology, Arfan Haj Omar- gynecologist, Husain Alhamood -surgeon, Abdulmehdi Hamood – gynecologist

The medical examination value at the private clinics reached to 1,000 SP, while the only free hospital is the national hospital due to close most of the medical centers
The pharmacies in Raqqa still open , where ISIS issued a decision allows to the pharmacists to open tow pharmacies at one time to cover the shortfalls , drugs prices have increased by more than 10% being the drugs came from Damascus city to Raqqa difficulty in addition to the high freight rates to Raqqa.
